SOPE 4.5alpha.1 is the first official trunk snapshot of the upcoming SOPE 4.6 (once going beta, 4.5a will be branched to 4.6).
Changes from the last 4.3.9 alpha release include an improved SOPE:X framework as well as a new Log4J like logging framework introduced by ZNeK. Most classes of the appserver got changed to use the new logging framework. A lot of issues where fixed in the iCalendar support delivering improved compatibility with RFC 2445. The appserver now comes with ".api" files which are used by WOEditor to provide code completion functionality and binding validation. Further, a new SAX driver demo has been added by ZNeK, the ChangeLogSaxDriver allows parsing of project ChangeLog files.
Finally various minor bugs where fixed, including some issue with handling cookies (bug #914), better etag support, fixes in the adaptor for Apache2, a lot of fixes/cleanups in the Sieve and IMAP4 code.
